Goodbye to a Legend
This isn't completely A&M related, but something needed to be said.
Every now and again, someone above any allegiances comes around and everyone takes notice of their greatness no matter who they normally root for. Today, Brett Favre said goodbye to the NFL, its fans, and the Green Bay Packers. After 17 record setting season, #4 is hanging up the cleats. There may be more talented QB's. QB's may one day break all of his records. But there was never a QB that epitomized the game of football better.
In honor of his remarkable career enjoy this incredible 2 minute video clip dedicated to one of the NFL's finest.
Feel free to leave your favorite memory of Brett Favre in the comments section.

I guess my favorite memories are his mistakes... flipping the ball into the end zone to a receiver after he'd already crossed the line of scrimmage.
How 'bout that pass against the Vikings that landed on the back of the receivers legs as he was lying on the ground, he never let it hit the ground and got back and scored while the Vike DB stood there looking?
his ability to burn the ball right at Ahman Green on a dump down when Green was only about four yards away.
Attacking ... I think it was a 49er defensive lineman who came after him after an interception.

good qb
I saw a show on brett and how he would cheat in his early days. He wouldn't know the plays at the meetings, and he would have the other QBs tell him or answer for him. He was always joking around.

Future
What I look forward to most: his comeback after Mini-camps, his winning Superbowl XLIII against Tom Brady, and his inevitable coming to be Mike Sherman's OC/Quarterbacks Coach.
Thanks and Gig 'em Brett,
